Contrary to what we often see today, yoga is so much more than just 'asana', or physical practice. Yoga is a lifestyle that involves self-understanding, gratitude and resilience in stressful situations. Through philosophy, meditation, asana and pranayama (breath control), yoga can have a profound impact on your life, helping you feel rooted within yourself. ​The ultimate goal of yoga is to still the mind, we are here to find peace in the storm, not to tighten your butt.

Through constant practice you get to feel the benefits of yoga. Each practice is tailored to what you need that day. You will feel flexible and strong, both physically and mentally.

trauma-informed yoga

If you suffer from anxiety, depression or trauma, going to a big yoga class can feel like a lot. I would be happy to guide you one-on-one to work on your mind-body connection. I am trained to provide trauma-informed sessions, which means I adapt my class to how you feel and what you need.

prenatal yoga

Pregnancy is an incredible time in a woman's life, and it comes with a lot of changes. In our pregnancy classes we train both the mind and the body to be resilient and at peace, and we take time for you  to connect with your baby.

With Sunny's sunrise yoga you completely relax. It's a very nice way to start your day.

 

Not only does she explain everything very well and accurately, she also makes you aware about yourself and the thoughts you have towards  yourself. Her message in this particular lesson was to be nicer to yourself. In each lesson she tries to create more awareness in certain areas.

 

In addition, the exercises are varied and challenging, but you can do them at your own pace. I can't wait for the next lesson!

The yoga classes with Sunny give me a safe and relaxed space where I can really focus on myself and my body.

She always incorporates a variety of different poses to ensure that you get to use your whole body throughout the practice. I feel so much stronger and more flexible after just a few weeks!

Sunny dedicates time to everyone in her class to make sure that the poses are done correctly and even if you fall out of a pose she always encourages you to smile so you don't feel under pressure. 

​

I would recommend yoga with Sunny to anyone who would like to nourish their mind and body and feel more connected and at peace.

I really enjoy Sunny's yoga classes. She offers my favourite type of yoga and I think and feel she is great teacher. Her energy is so nice to surround yourself with, her voice is just perfect for yoga. She is very skilled and has an eye for detail so as to make the right adjustment and somehow she always knows what I need that day!
